NoseWork Seminar - 2018

PWDsNE is pleased to present a NoseWork Seminar

with Ginny Howe.

Come join us on February 25, 2018

at It’s a Dog’s World in York, Maine

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

*Ginny is a K9 Nose Work Instructor at Telling Tails Training Center and for the SOC obedience club.  She has trained with the sport’s founders and completed the NACSW instructor certification course.  She has completed multiple titles on multiple dogs in several venues.

The Schedule for the day:

9-11am:  Handler Discrimination – teach your dog how to find items with the handler’s scent.

11-12: Complimentary Lunch 

12-4pm:  Introduction to odor – Beginner through experienced, Ginny will gear each team’s exercises with their ability and experience.  Beginner dogs will start with an intro to hunting then move on to pairing with odor.  Experienced dogs will have more challenges presented for them to work through.


    working team - $80     Audit - $45

Seminar will be limited to 12 working teams.

*Handlers can swap dogs between morning and afternoon sessions but will be asked to work only 1 dog per session.

Coffee, light breakfast fare and lunch will be provided.
